Ok, admittedly the title is a bit odd. Be Kind to Your List? What? Aren’t you trying to Sell Them? How can you be ‘kind’, and ’sell them’ at the same time? Its called a soft sell. If you simply hit them over the head with your opportunity every few days, they most certainly are going to unsubscribe. However, if you offer them something of value, they are far more likely to not only read your messages when they arrive, but also to stay subscribed.
Nothing of value to give? I’ll bet you can come up with something. How about a free copy of The Attraction Marketers Manifesto? You can sign up on the site to get your own link to give away this treasure. How about an invitation to join the online community at Direct Matches for free? What about all of the ebooks you have sitting on your computer…any of them have the resale rights for you to give them away? Perfect! Offer them as bonuses for people to open your letters!
Send them your opportunity followup letters, and send them FOREVER. Keep in contact with them so that they know your name. Over the first couple of weeks you may want to send them a message every 3 days or so. But then as time goes on, space them out to once a week or even every other week. Who knows, over time you may come up with something of value to offer them. Perhaps you found an interesting article, a review of a good book, or a website that you found entertaining. Send them more personal messages from you to reveal your character. Always keep your opportunity url in the signature file of these types of messages, so that people can potentially take another look at what you do. All of these messages are effortlessly going out through your Autoresponder…it works even while you sleep.
The people on your list may wonder how on earth you have the TIME to find such interesting things to send them…you have the TIME because you made the time. You have a home based business that allows you the time to play!
